Playdays - Case Study
Playdays is a group of 12 indoor play centres located around Melbourne and Sydney which have been designed to provide a safe, fun, exciting and enjoyable atmosphere for pre-school children. They provide original play equipment designed to encourage the development of cognitive and motor skills in children, assist their imagination.
Challenge
Playdays approached Click Creative with the task of designing and developing a website that appealed to both children and adults, presenting a colourful and playful theme. The website would need to provide membership functions for Club Playdays members as well as facilitate online sales of Playdays merchandise.
Solution
Drawing from the core colours in the company logo, the Click designers maintained a youthful theme to the website that is colourful and playful. A themed page-border was developed by utilising the drawings in the Playdays logo.
The members database area, Club Playdays, was an important aspect to the website and established a requirement for membership account access through the website. Click Creative came up with a solution that allowed a Club Playdays member to log on to their personal account and review their earned points at any time. This feature links up to the physical location of Playdays centres where the points gained by member visits immediately transferred to their online account.
An e-commerce system allows customers and members to securely purchase Playdays merchandise online, providing a 24-hour sales service for Playdays.
Success
The result is a successful and functional website for both Playdays members and visitors alike. Click developed the entire project from start to finish, assisting in Playdays branding and providing an online business function for the company.
