Digital Marketing Leads the Way
There is more good news for online marketing. An April poll posed by Marketing magazine asked its online site visitors what medium generated the most leads for their business.
Digital ranked the highest at 28.4% followed by word of mouth, 26.46%, and direct marketing, 23.74%. Events and experiential ranked 8.95%, whilst broadcast advertising and PR each gained 6.23% of the business pie. This comes as little surprise to us, with the digital online medium continuing to bring success to many of our clients.
It is another testament to the fact that traditional media and marketing is giving way to new and innovative solutions that digital technology can offer in driving business. Your website should constantly be working for you in bringing through new leads or business. Here are a few tips to boost your online presence if it is not working successfully for you.
1) Keep the content up-to-date.
Regularly update company news or featured products and services.
2) Provide a contact form so users can immediately submit their details.
Limiting your website to only display contact details may result in missed enquiries if the user is not motivated enough to follow-up.
3) Keep in touch with clients via email marketing
Email marketing or permission-based marketing is one of the most effective ways of reaching your target market. This form of direct marketing allows you to communicate with an already-interested market. Click’s email marketing system provides a customised, branded email template as well as feedback statistics after every email broadcast.
4) Invest in e-commerce
If your business can sell its products or services online, you should be maximising on profits with an e-commerce website. E-commerce is becoming an increasingly popular way for consumers to purchase goods and services- expose your brand to a larger market and attract direct sales online.
5) Re-design your website within 5 years to avoid looking out-dated
Your website is your business face. Make sure it reflects your current company branding and remains with the times.
